Adventure Tour

A morning busy with last minute packing and a late night flight to Delhi, left us with no energy, but the Indian hospitality and traditional ways of welcoming guests was a very refreshing turn to our journey to the country. We were immediately transferred to a spectacular hotel in Delhi where we spent the rest of the night. Our Corbett National Park Adventure Tour then started next morning as we proceeded to the verdant environs of Uttranchal in North India. This wildlife tour in Corbett National Park was an amazingly adventurous experience as was expected.

On the first day of our adventure tour in Corbett National Park we met our tour guide and naturalist. They first gave us a brief set of instructions about the history of the place and about the necessary safety measures and behavior which one must keep in mind while traveling in the jungle.

We learned from our guide that Jim Corbett National Park is named after the hunter and naturalist Jim Corbett. This park situated in Uttrakhand acts as a natural reserve for critically endangered Bengal tiger of India. This park is also blessed with a sub- Himalayan belt whose view is one of the most memorable instances of our visit to the park. Our North India tour was full of unlimited adventure at every turn we encountered varied wildlife animals and learnt great deals about them.

As informed by our naturalist the park is an eternal abode of 585 species of resident and migratory birds out of which we spotted various eagles, blossom headed parakeet and red jungle fowl. We were also able to site a wide variety of wildlife including various reptiles, amphibians, and dragonflies. The most enchanting and exhilarating experience of our wildlife tour in North India was when we spotted Bengal Tigers. The thick forest, Ramganga River and plentiful prey make this place an ideal abode of these furious predators.

The elephant safari early in the morning on the lush green forest and the view of majestic Himalayas along with a view of innocent brute creatures at a playful mood all has bequeath my mind with most pleasing memories. Even now when only a thought of my Corbett National Park Adventure Tour and the time spent there refreshes my mind and provides me a new vigor.

Tiger and Bird Watching Tour

This summer I decided spend my vacations amidst the wilderness and thus I started my search for a perfect itinerary. It was then that a Tiger and Bird Watching Tour really caught my attention I was instantaneously engrossed by the thought of a vacation amidst the wild. This time the destination I choose the land of lush greenery and verdant flora and fauna- India for a birding tour in India.
First I hired a tour operator in Rajasthan for designing the tour according to me and my friend’s preference who made our tour the most carefree experience. Our Tiger tour in India began first with a visit to Corbett National Park in Uttrakhand. This park nestled amidst the scenic environs of Uttrakhand this wildlife sanctuary is a famous tiger reserves and boasts of being the only reserve where the tiger population has increased in the past few years. We visited the park on jeeps which were fully equipped with all the safety measures that gave us the reason to smile even while viewing the furious wild animals.

Thereafter we visited Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary which is truly one of the finest bird parks I have ever been to. Our bird watching in India was a completely awe inspiring sight with picturesque vistas of the surrounding forest and the musical chirping of numerous breeds of birds all around. We were lucky to view various indigenous water birds as well as migratory birds and waterside birds in the sanctuary.
As I’m very fond of wildlife viewing I insisted on a detailed tiger tour in the country thus our next destination was Ranthambore National Park. Ranthambore National Park is a famous tiger reserve in Rajasthan and is decked with Banas River at one and Chambal River at other end. This park provided us to view some of the most furious wildlife in India such as Leopard, Dhole, Nilgai, Chital, Wild Pig, Sambar and many reptiles. This tour to India has been a completely rejuvenating experience and had made my vacations worth cherishing for the rest of my life.
